Trump is, and always has been, a moron. You do not become a moron, whereas you can become demented or insane. The fact that Trump always has been a moron, and has always said moronic things, and behaved moronically, makes it difficult to distinguish between that and a change in his mental stability. However, as many commentators over the last few weeks have noted, he does, now, appear to show all of the aspects of actually being insane.
Even Republican politicians have admitted, on camera, that they too, believe that he is mentally ill, and yet, they continue to defend him, and to excuse it, by what has become the normal response of claiming that some Democrats are mentally ill too.
A look at the response of Trump's FBI Director, Kash Patel, and his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, shows the same approach of lackeys who, clearly know that Trump is both a moron and insane, but who, unable to actually defend him, just engage in ad hominen attacks on those charged with oversight.
There seems little doubt that Trump is insane rather than simply just a moron. The Democrats, having allowed Biden to stay in the race in 2024, have kneecapped themselves, not to mention the extent of their own corruption and manoeuvring. There is also mounting evidence, however, that the whole Trump regime is engaged in corrupt activities on an unprecedented scale, alongside its expanding measures of authoritarianism as Trump seeks to send troops into Democrat run cities, even as federal judges strike down his commands.
But, the Democrats and others should be careful in seeking to remove Trump via the 25th Amendment, because the consequence would be to put in office J.D. Vance. Politically, Vance is far more dangerous than Trump, and a sane Vance would not have all of the deficiencies of a moronic and insane Trump.
