More Scientific Backing For The Position I Argued From Day 1 On COVID19

Professor Johan Giesecke is an advisor to the Swedish Government and the WHO on the COVID pandemic. In the interview he gives below he sets out why there is no scientific basis for the current policies of implementing lockdowns. His views support those I have set out from the start, and which have also been put forward by Professor Wolfgang Wodarg. Giesecke argues, as I have done, that the real policy should have been to protect those actually at serious risk from COVID19, i.e. those within the 20% of the population who are either elderly, or else who suffer from some underlying medical condition.

Giesecke was the first Chief Scientist of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Before becoming an epidemiologist he was an infectious disease clinician. In this inteview, he also sets out what was wrong with the position adopted by the team at Imperial Collage on which all of the subsequent moral panic has been developed by the media, and which subsequently created a herd mentality, and group think, similar to that which led to the belief in 2003 that Saddam Hussein had WMD, and was only 45 minutes away from potentially unleashing them on he world.
