Northern Soul Classics - Long After Tonight Is All Over - Jimmy Radcliffe

I was intending featuring this after last week's Chuck Jackson, but the death of Hal David last week, who wrote both this choice, and last week's, along with many more Northern classics, made it even more a relevant choice.  It was the end of nigh, floor filler at many a venue, but I particularly remember it from the Torch in the late 60's/early 70's (including playing it there myself on one occasion, way too loud!!!).  Whenever, it struck up, it was time to get on the floor with your girlfriend if you had one, or begin edging to the cloakroom if you hadn't, ready to drift off towards the chippy in the Haymarket, and walk home!
