Starmer's Zionist Hypocrisy

It is no surprise that Keir Starmer, who has failed, day after day, to make any kind of serious condemnation of the violent acts committed by the Zionist state against, ordinary Palestinian citizens, was fast off the blocks to condemn the response to those attacks, from desperate Palestinians, as “terrorism”, and to assert in the strongest terms his support for the right of the racist, Zionist state to continue its illegal occupation of Palestine, on the grounds of its “right to defend itself”. Starmer, of course, in doing so, denies the Palestinians that very same right! It is also, in stark contrast to his undying commitment to the corrupt capitalist regime, in Ukraine to use the same kinds of “terrorist” tactics, as part of its response to Russian occupation of part of Ukraine.

What difference, in principle, is there in Hamas firing rockets into Israel in response to the endless, day after day, violence from the Zionist state, which occupies Palestine, with the Ukrainian capitalist state firing missiles to blow up Russian road bridges to Crimea? In principle, none whatsoever. But, there is a big difference in practice and content. When Hamas fires rockets into Israel, it is a rather futile act, driven by desperation, and those rockets are almost entirely useless, in their effect, especially given the ability of the Zionist state to shoot them down using its Iron Dome, of missile defence, based upon the US supplied Patriot Missile systems. By contrast, the missiles that Ukraine fires into Russia, are the latest NATO supplied weapons systems, such as the UK supplied Stormshadow Cruise Missiles, or like the the US supplied HIMARS that the Ukrainians used to blow up the Nova Kharkovka dam.

But, of course, the corrupt, anti-working-class regime in Ukraine, is acting as the agent of US imperialism, and, as part of that imperialist camp, Starmer takes a very different attitude to its actions, terroristic or not, to those it takes to the Palestinians fighting against Zionist occupation of Palestine, and its barbarism towards the Palestinian people. Every desperate act of the Palestinians, no matter how pitiful, in response to their oppression, has to be immediately condemned by the likes of Starmer, with no reference to the actions of the Zionist state that led up to them. 

In the meantime, the reactionary regime of Zelensky is to be given the latest high-tech weapons to launch similar strikes against Russia, to be provided with the latest weapons of mass destruction, be it the latest cruise missiles, fighter jets, long range missiles, cluster bombs, or depleted uranium munitions, just as Israel's daily attacks on Palestinians go unmentioned, and its massive attacks on Palestinian civilians in Gaza, are to be justified as simply its “right to defend itself”!!!

The latest Zionist war planes and bombs supplied by NATO blow up the Palestine Tower and other residential building in Gaza, but such actions provoke no condemnation from Starmer, Biden and Co., just as they have failed to take any action over the continued occupation of Palestine and oppression  of Palestinians that occurs day after day, for the last 75 years.
