Well done to Stoke's Eddie "The Beast" Hall, for taking third place in "The World's Strongest Man", despite suffering with two dislocated fingers. That came with yet another world record, following on from his new world record for the deadlift of an astounding 1,000 kg. set earlier in the year.
I've seen Eddie many times in local supermarkets, and from a distance its impossible to gauge his size, but a few months ago, me and my son were down in the gym at Trent Vale, when Eddie came in, and at close range you get the full impact of just how big he is.
