After last weeks, uptempo outing from Jerry Butler, I couldn't help following up with another belter from the Ice Man. Its another that has had very little coverage on the Northern scene, but another I used to play a lot in the 1970's. This time a slower, but powerful rendition, written by Jerry's brother, and Northern favourite, Billy Butler. All of the Chigago, and Impressions/Curtis Mayfield influence is there in abundance. Classic.
